In 2002, HERD entered the vehicle protection market in North America by introducing two new products - the Defender for semi trucks, and the Aero LT for working class pickup trucks. Based on proven Australian design and manufacturing techniques, these products opened a new market for "Premium" protection with new features like oversize tubes and fully boxed-in uprights.
