- Aluminum Welders (night shift)
- Grinders / Polishers
HERD offers excellent compensation packages, including training, benefits, and wages starting from $13 to $16/hr (DOE), along with an additional $1/hr midnight premium.
Aluminum Welders (night shift)
Responsibilities
Operate Aluminum Mig welding machine
Read and interpret build sheets
Able to read and understand metric tape measure.
Maintain a clean and organized work space.
Shifts
Midnight shift = 8:30 pm - 7:00 am
4 nights per week
Grinder and Polisher
Work Environment
Grinders and polishers work in a physically demanding and dirty environment that requires working with a full face respirator at all times. The work is repetitive and fast paced. Grinders and polishers work as a team to produce high quality products to contribute to the outstanding Herd products.
Responsibilities
Operate a 5" and 7" angle grinder to grind aluminum welds.
Operate an angle polisher to polish required components of the bumper.
Operate a 5" angle grinder to sand aluminum parts using various grits of sandpaper.
Operate a stand-alone manual polisher to sand and polish required components of the bumper.
Maintain a clean and organized work space.
Shifts
Day shift = 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Midnight shift = 8:30 pm - 7:00 am
